The first time that I ever really drank alcohol, as in had more than a few sips of something, was on my 22nd birthday. That night is one of the types of story that falls under the adage, “if you remember it, then you weren’t really there.” From what I have pieced together from all the stories that retold to me afterwards, it was apparently a pretty rockin’ night. To sum it all up, I apparently joined a Mexican singing bad at Casa de Mexicana, threw up in front of most of the student body, and got thrown out of a “Cover Girls” concert. Translation…a successful night of drinking!
So in that last year as an undergraduate I did my best to try and catch up to all the partying that I missed out on in the three years before hand. Little did I know how much drinking could enhance an evening, or at least make it really, really funny. I think one of my favorite things about that time in my life, which really only stretched throughout that summer, was all the stupid conversations that me and my friends would get into, and how much passion we had behind the stupid things we were saying.
Well, with that as an intro., I have found something that may be the funniest thing I have watched in a long time. The clip that I am putting below is from a project called “Drunk History.” The concept is simple, get someone super drunk, turn a camera on them, and then ask them to retell an important moment in US History. Add some actors in to do some pretty funny reenactment, and what you are left with is internet video gold!

OMG – that crap made me LITERALLY cry into my corn flakes this morning.
Um, I’m pretty sure my sister and I went to school with J.D. Ryznar… and he’s actually quite hilarious, even sober.
So funny. Did you know that’s going to be on HBO tomorrow night? Part of Will Ferrell’s new “Funny or Die” show. Don Cheadle is in it I think. Maybe you (or someone who has HBO-that wouldn’t be me) can throw a little East Nasty viewing party…
Ryznar spearheaded Yacht Rock which is quite possibly one of the funniest mini webisode series ever.
I remember that night. I remember getting a call from you in the wee hours of the morning asking me to pick you up. I remember driving up to Flowers Hall seeing you doubled over on the curb, green faced and drooling like you had just gotten jacked-up by a Mariachi Band. Classic time my friend. You have come a long way since the days when we used to carry a six pack of glass bottle sprite to parties.
